Founded in 1946, we have continued to grow over the past 70+ years to become one of Canada’s largest manufacturers of fine jewellery. We have a long-standing market presence in North America providing service to a large and diverse customer base with a specialty in custom replication/replacement of lost/stolen jewellery. Recognized for superior quality in luxury goods, Hennick & Co offers an extensive array of services: custom-designed jewellery, jewellery repairs, jewellery restoration, jewellery redesigning, jewellery repairs, appraisals, and estate mediation.

Drawing on generations of experience, Hennick & Co Jewellery has carried on the tradition of creating custom jewelry in-house and remain involved through every part of the creation process from start to finish. Our vast showroom offers inspiration with hundreds of samples. With thirty-five employees working from our 10,000 square foot facility, we perform all aspects of manufacturing from design, to 3D printing, to casting, to in-house finishing and shipping. Our team of internationally renowned designers, gemologists, craftspeople and highly skilled goldsmiths offer their years of experience and dedication to the industry, as well as their passion for every item we design and manufacture. Our staff is committed to service and quality to ensure that final products meet our high standards and exceed our customer expectations.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Justin Hennick

As the managing director of Hennick & Company, Justin oversees all
operations from buying of gemstones and diamonds, creating custom
jewellery and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to
our customers. Justin focuses on insurance replacement and providing
insurance quotes to adjusters. Justin is a certified Diamond Grader
allowing him to confidently advise his clients on the perfect diamond
for their jewellery.

Justin has an extensive background in law and consulting, and is
continuously innovating and improving the way in which we service our
customers. Providing an elevated experience to insurance companies and
their insured is Justin’s mission for Hennick & Company.

Karrie Hennick

Karrie’s career has been fully immersed in Nathan Hennick & Company since 1988. Her depth of experience, leadership acumen and track record of success are qualities she brings to the Insurance Team. With over 30 years of experience in the Canadian jewellery industry, Karrie has been involved in many facets of the business. Karrie’s goal is to ensure that your experience with our professional jewellery replacement specialists is a seamless and efficient experience for both adjusters and insureds. Whether you utilize our services for custom and re-design, replacement or quotations you will have access to our talented and educated team of jewellery replacement specialists, gemologists, goldsmiths and international design team.

Gemologist

Kathy Shang

Kathy is a certified Gemologist, who graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2015. With over 10 years in the jewellery industry, Kathy is uniquely qualified in the areas of insurance assessments, appraisals, and expert diamond and coloured gemstone purchasing. Kathy has travelled the world buying gemstones since 2014.

Kathy’s extensive knowledge, attention to detail and professional demeanour are the perfect fit to assist clients when appraising their jewellery, matching diamonds or choosing the perfect gemstone.

Jewellery Designer

Eugenia

Eugenia combines a flair for artistic design and technical expertise in jewellery creation. Her ability to turn her clients’ vision into a stunningly beautiful, unique piece that will light up a room is unsurpassed. Throughout her studies at OCAD, Eugenia graduated with a degree in Jewellery Design, and her 18 years of experience, she has developed creative and professional skills that make her an invaluable asset to Hennick & Co as a trusted designer to our clients.

Jewellery Designer

Tina

Tina gained her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in Art History, and then went back to school to George Brown for a diploma in Jewellery Arts. Tina works with clients in designing everything from the most unique avante garde piece to your classic diamond solitaire. Whether it is a custom-designed engagement ring or re-styling inherited jewellery Tina will listen, put pencil to paper and bring your vision to life.

Master Jeweller

Zohrab

Since 1997 Zohrab has been working internationally as a Jeweller. Zohrab is a true artisan who uses a combination of jewellery making skills to make and repair jewellery. His skills include: goldsmithing, stone setting, lost wax casting, polishing and so much more.

Diamond Setter

Ken

Ken learned the jewellery trade from his father who owned a retail store. At 9 years old, Ken cut his first rubber mold. Ken has worked with the Hennick family for over 35 years. As a second-generation setter, Ken has honed his expertise and set over 1,000,000 stones in his lifetime from rare and unique gemstones to your classic round brilliant cut diamond. Ken takes great pride in every stone that he sets – including that in his daughter’s recent engagement ring.

Chit, Connie and Nancy

Our QC team has been working with the Hennick family in the jewellery industry for a combined 60+ years. Chit, Connie and Nancy are our quality control specialists ensuring that we can take pride in every piece that leaves our factory.
